LAURELVILLE — Where is Karl Roeder? The 43-year-old Wagner Road resident was last seen Feb. 17 in Hocking County. His family hasn't heard from him. His car, wallet and a gun are missing, but his toiletries are still in his house.

SOUTH PERRY — Authorities found missing Hocking County resident Karl Roeder murdered Wednesday. Roeder was shot in the back four to six times, Hocking County Coroner David Cummin said Thursday. Last seen Feb. 10, Roeder had not just wandered off as some speculated. In fact, he never left home. The 43-year-old's body was on the Wagner Road property of Genevieve Kelsey, 72, his landlady.

LOGAN - Carl "Doc" Beebe has been indicted by a Hocking County grand jury for the murder of Karl Roeder - he was to be arraigned today, according to Hocking County Prosecutor Larry Beal.
